We welcome great writers to amplify their voice and share their knowledge and experience with TimeTask by contributing a guest post on our Medium Blog: https://medium.com/timetasks

If you would like to submit an article to the TimeTasks blog, please consider this guideline.

What you should avoid:

• Already published articles. We only accept unpublished drafts.
• Try avoiding cheap or copyright images, instead of this use stock photography from websites like Unsplash, Pexels, Burst, The Stocks or Pixabay.
• Clickbait headlines.
• It’s okay to talk about yourself but don’t turn off your audience with heavy self-promoted content.

General:

1. You need to have a Medium account, this is how you will submit your post.
2. All guest posts should be original and created by you.
3. You give the copyright of the content to use and you cannot republish it again on any platform or channel.
4. The post should be at least 1000 words.
5. We only accept content written in English and it should be error-free.
6. We know links are important, you may include links to your or other websites in your posts as long as they are relevant and lead to high-quality content. But please don’t include more than 1 links to the same domain in one post.
7. To make the post more fun include graphics, screenshots, demo clips, infographics, charts, gifs, and other creative illustrations.
8. We may edit/modify your draft to improve its readability or change specific products or brands or links.
9. Use Medium’s formatting tools for the title, subtitle, and headings. Don’t use bold, italic, or all-caps for headings.
10. Have at least one image.

Topics we are interested in:

• Startup culture: Entrepreneurship, creativity, freelancing, startups, investing, innovation, marketing, social media, leadership and management.
• Web development and design: UX, UI, design, development, programming, apps, software, hardware, SaaS.
• Productivity: self-improvement, professional growth, remote working, growth mindset.

How to submit:

• Have the complete draft post ready.
• If you haven’t published with us before, you first need to send a link to your draft on Medium via the link below so we can review it and add you as the author.

Write for us

• After reading the draft we will add you as author & you can go to the ellipsis menu again and select “add to publication > TimeTasks”. Confirm that the story has been submitted.
• If some changes need to be made, we will leave a note on the post. We won’t publish it until they are addressed.
• After everything is good to go, we publish it within the next few days; Medium will notify you when it’s live. If we don’t reach back to you within 36 hours, your article will not publish this time. You can always submit your next article.
